Join us for an evening celebrating the artists and creative vision behind the Providence River Park mural installation! We will gather for a walking tour featuring remarks from participating artists, an opportunity to learn about the artwork and the creative process, and a celebration of the public art transforming our riverfront.
The installation brings together an extraordinary group of artists working across glazed printed tile, handmade ceramic art, and painted murals, adding new layers of creativity, color, and expression to Providence River Park and the surrounding areas.
Participating artists include:
K. Funmilayo Aileru, Building Infinity (Maddie Dennis, Laura Motley, Roby Newton, Tara Cimini), David Allyn, Edwige Charlot, JSTN CLMN, Quinn Corey, Dana Heng, Jungil Hong, Jazzmen Lee Johnson, Ara Peterson, Shey Rivera, Jordan Seaberry, Amanda Soule, and Joan Wyand.
The series is presented by the PVD Parks Department and Art, Culture and Tourism, curated by Linsey Wallace and produced by Chroma Council
Additional activities and event details will be announced soon.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes, as this event will take place along the riverfront and include a walking tour.
We look forward to celebrating the artists, their work, and the continued transformation of Providence River Park and surrounding areas with you!
