Super interesting day at @growsmartri Power of Place Summit.
We loved learning more about the work that @providenceplanning and @arupamericas have done on the Riverwalk Resilience Project, which, when completed, will make this hidden gem of downtown Providence more beautiful, accessible, and resilient to rising seas.

Let’s make this a month to remember in the heart of the city. ❤️
@providence.tartan.army may have moved on to Miami, but thankfully they left behind one bagpiper to serenade the game last night.
It was a tough match for team Scotland, but there is no shame in losing to team Brazil, who had a great showing of fans. 🏴🇧🇷
While the adults locked in on the match, the kids enjoyed their own games, the new addition of a misting feature, and a new group of food trucks featuring epic snow cones.
There’s something for everyone at the PVD Fanzone, and you don’t want to miss it.
See you at the Fanzone, brought to you by @providenceact and @providencetourism!

Last week, Mayor Smiley joined us to celebrate the grand reopening of the Kiosk at Biltmore Park—bringing new energy to the heart of downtown.
Now open Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 9 PM, the kiosk offers drinks, snacks, and ice cream, alongside free community favorites like ping-pong, chess, and foosball.
A true team effort—made possible by city leadership, Providence Parks, the Department of Arts, Culture & Tourism, the Providence Tourism Council, Chroma Council, and talented local artists.
See you at the park ☀️
