Antidote Seeking

Lena Mac is a Massachusetts-based designer and muralist. She creates work about mindfulness, internal states and connectivity with the mysterious aspects of nature.

Antidote Seeking is a vibrant mural rich with symbolism and meaning about trusting and finding hope in creative visions/ideas/pathways. Searching for an antidote to the sterilization of the modern world and capitalism.

The night-sky hands represent connecting deeper to the mysteries within ourselves and the larger natural world/embracing unknown unknowns. The lotus is a universal symbol of love and compassion for all sentient beings and ginkgo leaf represents hope/endurance/longevity. The shell is a reference to the earth and divine feminine spirit (inspired by Mayan sculptures on a recent trip to Mexico City) and all life/energy is coming out of that source.
