The Providence Riverwalk is entering an important phase of planning focused on its long-term role as a civic and environmental resource.

INFORM Studio is working with the Arup-led design team as architects and urban designers, with a focus on resilient infrastructure, accessible circulation, and strengthening the Riverwalk as a shared public asset.

Efforts led by the City of Providence are addressing accessibility, flood resilience, and improved connections between the Riverwalk, Waterplace Park, and key downtown destinations. Public engagement remains central to shaping how the Riverwalk can better serve residents, visitors, and the broader community.
