The Downtown Providence Park Network has named Suzanne Ellis Wernevi as its next Executive Director, starting March 2.
Suzanne brings a powerhouse mix of business, marketing, and advocacy experience from Blue Dot Motorworks and her fine jewelry brand Luna & Stella, along with community leadership as Vice Chair of Common Cause Rhode Island.
We’re excited for this next chapter as DPPN continues activating and connecting public spaces across downtown and along the waterways. 💡✨

Big news for the Providence River 💧
We are working with TNC and CRMC, in partnership with the City of Providence, to remove 300 pilings and old decking near the Point Street Bridge through a $2.3M @noaa grant. We are truly honored to be part of this important effort.
This work will:
💧 Improve water quality
🚣 Enhance recreation
⚓ Reduce navigational hazards
Cleaner, safer, and better access to the river we love.
