Save The Bay: Activities for Students

Bay Experience – This program teaches students about the anatomy and adaptations of Bay creatures through observation of live animals. Save The Bay will have three or four species for the groups to study, along with other teaching tools. After an age-appropriate introduction to Narragansett Bay, students are introduced to the animals one at a time, with special attention paid to the unique adaptations and anatomy of each animal.

Cristin is a talented sculpture and installation artist known for her delicate, large-scale fabric creations inspired by botanical imagery and patterns in nature. Her illuminated sculptures, originally created for her home and later commissioned for Hope Street, have brought joy and laughter to our community for years.

We can’t wait to see the five cheerful new sculptures she’s creating for LUMINA!
