The National Miss US Italia Pageant is set to take place in Providence, Rhode Island, on June 22, 2025. The main event will be hosted at the Providence Marriott Downtown, with meet and greet event on June 21, 2025

The pageant invites applications from girls and women who take pride in their Italian American heritage. While the annual event is held in Rhode Island, winners from various age divisions will have the opportunity to represent the system from their home states during their year-long reign. Eligible participants include females aged 6 and older, regardless of marital status, who have Italian American ancestry through birth or lineage (such as parents or grandparents born in Italy).

“Being Italian American encompasses belonging to a family and cultural community that is rich in love, grounded in tradition, and filled with pride for oneself and the community,” said Pat Paolino Cruz, Director and Producer of the Miss US Italia Pageant. “ We are excited to revive this event after it’s hiatus and delighted to host it in Providence, Rhode Island.

Providence, celebrated for its vibrant Italian American community, is where the competition originated, initially launched in 2014 as Miss RI ITALIA. Due to its growing popularity, the pageant began welcoming participants from across the nation in 2017. The United States is home to a vibrant community of over 18 million individuals of Italian descent. According to the National Italian American Foundation, Rhode Island, the host state of the pageant, has a population of 199,077 Italian Americans as of 2024, making it one of the states with the highest per capita populations of Italian Americans in the nation.

In a spirit of charity, the Miss US Italia Pageant will also introduce the Isabella Corcelli Community Involvement Award, honoring Isabella Dora Corcelli, one of the earliest Miss RI State Titleholders. Corcelli, a beautiful soul who tragically lost her battle with cancer in February 2016 at the age of 21, will have this award presented to an outgoing titleholder who has demonstrated a strong commitment to volunteering and supporting charities during her reign. The recipient will receive an award along with a $250 cash prize.

Contestant applications will be accepted until May 1, 2025 with a registration fee of $150.
