🎆 Staying Cool & Safe This 4th of July in Downtown PVD Parks 🎆
Planning to celebrate Independence Day in Downtown Providence? Here are some quick tips to help you stay safe, cool, and comfortable while enjoying the festivities in our parks:
☀️ Stay Hydrated – Bring a reusable water bottle and refill often. Many downtown spots have nearby businesses happy to help you out!
🧴 Don’t Forget Sunscreen – Reapply every 2 hours, especially if you’re out during peak sun (10am–4pm).
🕶️ Dress Smart – Light-colored, breathable clothing and a wide-brim hat go a long way.
🌳 Find the Shade – Take breaks under trees or shady seating areas to avoid overheating.
🐶 Keep Pets Cool – If you’re bringing furry friends, make sure their paws are protected and they have water, too!
🎒 Pack Light, Pack Smart – Bring only what you need, and make sure essentials like snacks, wipes, and hand sanitizer are easy to reach.
🎇 Celebrate Responsibly – Respect park rules, clean up after yourself, and be kind to your fellow downtown visitors.
Wishing everyone a fun, festive, and cool Fourth of July in #DowntownPVD!
