From Saigon to Solidarity: 50 Years of Southeast Asian and AAPI Communities

Join us for a vibrant outdoor gathering as we kick off AAPI Heritage Month with exhibits from the AAPI Mobile History Museum, featuring the stories and journeys of Chinese American, Cambodian American, Filipino American, Vietnamese American, Korean American, and Nepalese American communities.

This event centers on personal narratives, community voices, and reflections that bridge the past with the present — recognizing shared struggles, celebrating cultural resilience, and embracing the power of collective healing across the AAPI experience.

The event will include:

  • Outdoor craft tables
  • Live Chinese calligraphy
  • Asian food demonstrations
  • Asian art displays
  • Food trucks featuring Asian cuisine and Boba tea
  • And best of all — FREE admission to the AAPI History Museum all day! Come celebrate, learn, and connect through food, art, and history
