Queer Book Club — Small Format

This month’s book is a potent offering from revolutionary ancestor Assata Shakur.

This autobiography, woven with some of our favorite poetry by the writer, chronicles Assata’s childhood, revolutionary relationships, and of course, her work as a Black Panther and later political prisoner.
