Due to expected rain this weekend, we’ve made the extremely difficult decision to postpone the “You Belong Here” Kickoff Celebration, originally scheduled for this Sunday.
With so many incredible partners, activities, and community members involved, the Downtown Providence Parks Network and its Wayfinding supporters want to ensure this event gets all the sunshine it deserves.
The celebration will be rescheduled for September, and we can’t wait to gather with you then.
In the meantime, keep your eyes out for the newly installed Wayfinding banners—they’re already bringing color, meaning, and walkability to downtown, and this is just the beginning.

We’re SO excited to kick off our You Belong Here Wayfinding project! We’ll kick it off Sunday and bring our collective story to life! It’s free and open to everyone, stretching from the pedestrian bridge to the Basin.
