PAWTUCKET, RI – Rhode Island’s oldest community theater, The Community Players, currently celebrating their 103rd season, is proud to present Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella from November 8-17, 2024.

Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella is the new Tony® Award-winning Broadway adaptation of the classic musical (from the creators of South Pacific and The Sound of Music) that delights audiences with its surprisingly contemporary take on the timeless fairy tale. See all the moments you love—the pumpkin, the glass slipper, the masked ball and more—plus some surprising new twists! The beautifully lush score features some of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s most-loved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It’s Possible” and “Ten Minutes Ago,” alongside an up-to-date libretto by Tony® Award nominee Douglas Carter Beane. Don’t miss this hilarious and romantic fantasy for anyone of any age who has ever had a dream.
Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella is directed by Rachel Terceira, with musical direction by Joseph A. Carvalho, choreography by Zoe Gillis, and stage management by Lindsey ‘Lou’ Sheehan, and features the talents of: Melanie Carrazzo, Trey DiGioia, Grace Gerard, Mike Griswold, Zomiah Guzman, Jonathan Hart, Laura Holland, Carrie-Ann Kayan, Patrick Koshewa, Emily Lafreniere, Larissa Laver, Rachel Letourneau, Sandra Louis, Sary Melendez, Michael Mercado, Lucas Palmer, Nathan Pothier, Lindsay Rice, Harrie Salk, Meghan Smith, Rocky Smith, Sage Smith, Allison Spera, Kimberly Spera, Olivia Sullivan, Elena Taveras, Vera Vigneault, Samara Wald, Liz Wilcox, and Brenna Griswold as Cinderella.
Produced at Jenks Auditorium located on Division Street in Pawtucket, across from McCoy Stadium, performances are scheduled for November 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 2024 with Friday and Saturday curtain times at 7:30PM and Sunday matinees at 2:00PM. Tickets are $30.00 for adults and $18.00 for students (with a valid ID). Discount rates are also available for all performances for groups of 10 or more. Those attending the Opening Night performance on Friday, November 8 will be entered into a drawing for a special prize! Come and experience live theater at its best!
