“This holiday season, shop locally for unique gifts at Riker Art Glass Holiday Sale with Riker Art.
Bill Riker has been blowing glass in Rhode Island since 1973 when he moved here to attend Rhode Island School of Design. After graduating RISD with a master of fine arts he opened Riker Art Glass. In 2001 he moved his studio to East Providence.
Back in his original studio he used to open the doors once a year for a Holiday Sale and this year we’re bringing it back! You will be able to shop from 50 years worth of glass art! We’ll be showcasing his current line of work and also the one-offs from previous styles and seconds.
There will also be a selection of other art made by his daughter, Cat Riker. Recently she launched Cat Riker Art, and you can be one of the first to buy a unique miniature made out of natural materials. Or you could purchase one of her beautiful ceramic pieces.
There will be great prices on everything, so come give the gift of art this holiday season!”

We are thrilled to welcome Cristin Searles to LUMINA 2025!

Cristin is a talented sculpture and installation artist known for her delicate, large-scale fabric creations inspired by botanical imagery and patterns in nature. Her illuminated sculptures, originally created for her home and later commissioned for Hope Street, have brought joy and laughter to our community for years.

We can’t wait to see the five cheerful new sculptures she’s creating for LUMINA!
