One of New England’s most distinctive bands, Bees Deluxe delivers anything-but-basic blues. Hell-bent on a mission to drag the electric-analog blues of Chicago in the 60’s, the Blue Note catalog and the funk of New Orleans into the 21st century, the band’s repertoire includes addictive originals and innovative interpretations of tunes by artists including: Etta James, Joe Zawinul, J.B. Lenoir, Miles Davis, Billie Holiday, Albert Collins, Jimi Hendrix and the Three Kings. Their musicality and infectious enthusiasm has won them fans and awed audiences from Maine to the Mississippi and Miami.

“We are psyched to come banck and play in Newport,” said the band’s drummer Paul Giovine. “we drive past Rhode Island every month and rarely get a chance to stop by and see fans and friends in the area!”
